Dave’s heart for Haiti beats with passion for the children and all those impacted by the culture of poverty that leaves no region of the country untouched. Feeding and educating children, equipping widows with the means to become self-sustaining, providing free education to illiterate adults, pastor training and mentoring … these and so much more are never far from Dave’s heart–his “unselfie” heart. The Children’s Center in Godet provides total care for 17 children including housing, meals, education, clothing, medical care, all in a loving Christian environment. Haiti’s missionaries are teachers in a Haitian school, providing a quality Christian education while training and mentoring pastors and others in the Word of God. A hospitality house often bursts at the seams with visitors from the US in the adoption process or volunteering at the school and/or the Center. Every dollar counts.
