Africa Borehole

Heart of God Africa BoreholeClean water equals healthy living. Most of us will never understand what it’s like to raise a family without the blessing of clean water at the tip of our fingers. We turn a knob and out flows a stream of refreshing water suitable for drinking, cooking, cleaning and more. Unfortunately, an alarming number of people have never known such a blessing. They may walk a mile or two or more with empty containers to collect water from a borehole (well) and then have the chore of hauling the containers back to their home where they will use the water sparingly for the next day or so.

If, for whatever reason, the borehole is broken or not producing water, these folks will have to resort to fetching water from a puddle or a stream, or simply do without.  With the help of friends and supporters, Heart of God Africa was able to repair this borehole — these villagers can now supply their families with essential life-giving water. As they carry this water they are reminded of Jesus, out of whose belly flows rivers of living water. Your giving counts!
