#GivingTuesday: Open Doors in Kenya

When Denise Matthews, Executive Director of Heart of God Africa, met a wise and gentle man from Nairobi several years ago, it was obvious that God had ordained the connection. Doors of opportunity continued to present themselves as God continued to draw her attention to the needs of so many.

It has always been the goal of all members of the Heart of God International Ministries network to use the opportunities to minister to the physical needs of men, women and children as an open door to share the

Gospel of Jesus Christ. And, it is because of our primary objective to evangelize that we are always watching for open doors — opportunities brought to us by God to accomplish His work, in His time, with His leading.

Kids everywhere…longing to be noticed and acknowledged.

Heart of God Africa is trusting God to empower them to help Eagle Centre Primary School grow to meet the needs of both current and future students and their families.

This is but one of the many projects undertaken by Heart of God Africa. And, this is why #GivingTuesday is one day every year we set aside for blessing others with that with which we have been blessed.

"There is a wide-open door for a great work here..." (1 Cor 16:9)

“There is a wide-open door for a great work here…” (1 Cor 16:9)

Most of us don’t have big bank accounts. Many of us live from paycheck to paycheck. But, in comparison to those who struggle in third world countries, we are rich — abundantly blessed by our Creator for the purpose of sharing with others so they, too, can know the blessings of God.

Our prayer is that you join us on November 29 for the #GivingTuesday celebration. Sharing is caring and we KNOW that you care about the children at Eagle Centre School as well as the countless others who have so little yet are able to count the blessings of God already evident in their lives. They have people who love them and care about their future enough to educate them even if it means volunteering their time and talents.

The door is opening to move forward on projects like this … will you help Heart of God Africa step through?

Whether a Bible study, devotional, short story, poem, website copy, testimonies, or new songs from the depth of her heart in worship, the presentation of the Gospel creativity flows from her heart with passion, purpose, and proof that the Lord is the central focus of her entire life. Jan’s heart beats in constant rhythm of encouragement for today along with hope for tomorrow based on her love for the Word of God, His Body, and those who have yet to hear the the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
